The Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education in Sierra Leone is grateful to the Beyond the Carat (BTC) Foundation through Founder/CEO Dan Moijueh for donating more than 1000 volumes of the My Crystal Power books on 6 May 2023. 

Sierra Leone Minister for Basic and Senior Secondary Education, David Moinina Sengeh received 1,000 volumes of the book titled “The Adventures of JJ & Mr. Smith" (under the My Crystal Powers Publications). Minister Sengeh is also the Chief Innovation Officer for the Directorate of Science, Technology and Innovation for the African country. These books will be distributed to the libraries and schools in Sierra Leone. 

The children's book "The Adventures of JJ & Mr. Smith" is penned by BTC CEO Daniel Moijueh, who also heads  Moijey Fine Diamonds & Jewelry as its CEO. The event also saw the raffling of book prizes to 5 lucky winners and other gift items to lucky attendees. BTC Foundation donated $20,000 in kind for the book donation event.
